OUR STORY

The idea of creating a native flower farm was borne in 2020 with a desire to extend our private garden on our rural property in Buninyong whilst also providing native flowers and foliage to our local community as an ethical and sustainable family business.

With small scale farming backgrounds, we understood the importance of sustainability, specific growing conditions, and the rewards of hard work. An opportunity to extend our garden seemed too good to be true.

Both Australian and South African natives are planted in our paddocks providing a colourful, rotational vista for most of the year. As the plants grow, strolling between the curved rows invite a sense of unexpectedness and wonder about what lies ahead.
Local fauna love our paddocks as much as we do.
  • Wild ducks live in purpose built duck houses
  • Turtles duck and dive – we’ve counted 6 so far!
  • Many bird species come and go.
  • Sugar gliders take refuge in our bird boxes!
A paddock to posy philosophy we harvest only the freshest stems straight from our farm to you to create gorgeous native bunches. Sold exclusively from our Roadside Flower Stall every weekend from Autumn to early Summer. Every stem is scrutinised for quality whilst still maintaining a whimsical character of their own. It’s fair to say no two bunches are ever quite the same!
Wrapped in recyclable paper and recycled hessian, our bunches invoke a sense of rural earthiness.
Native inspired gift ware has been added to both the roadside stall and our online stall to provide additional choices when choosing a local, ethical gift.
We are Shane and Allison Pearce, and we hope you enjoy our stems.
